William Dison

William Dison, age 78 of Milport AL, passed away on Tuesday, June 04, 2024, at St. Dominic's in Jackson MS. Services for Mr. Dison will be Monday, July 08, 2024, at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service. 

Mr. Dison was born on February 06, 1946 to the late William Mac Dison and Lettie Simpson of Florence, AL. He was a humble loving man. He lived a simple life and would help anyone. Calvin enjoyed racing cars with his friends back in his younger days in Florence AL. He also loved the outdoors where he did a lot of fishing and camping.

William Calvin Dison is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Patrica Ann, daughter Mary Ann Dolohite, grandson Bruce Dolohite, brothers William G. “Bill” Dison , James C. Dison, Obie Leon Dison, George W. Dison, and Jim Dison and sisters Emma Jean Dison, Desire (sis) Moore and Luky Studds.

He is survived by his children Lisa Ann Burns, Jo Ann Glasgow, Barbara Ann Taylor, Calvin Andrew Dison (Andy), Stepdaughters Leslie Dawn Fields and Jazmine Fields all of Millport, Al. Sisters, Sarah Sobo, Linda Dickerson, Margaret Owens and Glenda Whitman, 11 grandchildren and a host a great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved dog “Bear”.
