Vera Marie Gray

Vera Marie Odom Gray, age 80 of Fayette, passed away January 13, 2021 at home. Services will be Saturday January 16, 2021 at 12 p.m. at Norwood – Wyatt Chapel with Rev. Brent Smalley officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Gray; sons, Daryl Gray and Jimmy Gray; grandsons, Stevie Burks and R.J. Gray; and her parents, Elbert Odom and Alice Griffin. Mrs. Gray is survived by her daughters, Sharon Gray (Brian Williams), Shonah Billups (Kirk), Sherry Burks (Danny), and Charlotte Gray; her sons, Terry Gray (Carol), Jerry Gray, Roger Gray (Renae), and Randall Gray; her brother, Clarence Odom; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, and “Gen Gen”. She never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by all.
