Toka Hammack

Toka Hammack, age 62 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Services will be Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family requests that masks be worn during the services. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Nell Elmore; father, Clifford Matthews; sister, Linda Matthews; great-granddaughters, Preslee Gracelynn Little and Harper Lee Little. Ms. Hammack loved and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved her home interior pictures and figurines. Ms. Hammack also loved having cookouts with her family during the holidays. She was a straight-forward person and would tell you the truth or her opinion. You always knew where you stood with her, but she loved everyone she met. She comforted all her family with her obsession over her Minky collection. She will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by best friend and partner, Joe Hammack; daughters, Tanya Pilkington (Doug), Stephanie Christian, Nancy Williams, and Kylee Bowman; sons, Willie Bowman, Waylon Bowman and Kaden Bowman; sisters, Joan Walker, Karen Hart, and Tina Hawkins; brothers, JR Matthews, Wade O’Shields, and Chris Matthews; grandchildren, Kelsea Little (Robert), MaKayla Pilkington (Noah), Cody Pilkington (Tabitha), Madison Pilkington (JC), Kristen Harbin, Kaitlyn Harbin (Jonathon), Ashley Bowman, Zoey Bowman, William Bowman, Brandon Bowman, Dalton Tucker, Bailey Williams and AJ Williams; great-grandchildren, Preslee Little, MaKena Kimbrell, Harper Little, Caine Zapata, Paxton Little and TynLeigh Pilkington. Pallbearers will be Kelsea Little, MaKayla Pilkington, Madison Pilkington, Ashley Bowman, Kristen Harbin and Kaitlyn Harbin. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Little, Noah Amerson, JC Abernathy, Jonathan Wesson, Cody Pilkington and Daniel Williams.
