Thomas "Buddy" Oswalt

Thomas “Buddy” Oswalt, age 83 of Fosters passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Services will be Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Sylvan Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will follow at Sylvan Methodist Church Cemetery. Buddy is survived by his wife, Dorothy Oswalt; daughter, Rhonda (Tim) Mitchell; son, Donald (Barbara) Oswalt; grandchildren, Elizabeth Mitchell, Ethan Mitchell, Haley (Dylon) Farris and Tyler Oswalt; four great grandchildren; and nephew, Robert Oswalt. Buddy was a beloved husband and father who loved being outdoors, in his garden and with his community. Pallbearers are Tyler Oswalt, Ethan Mitchell, Jeff Jones, Dylon Farris, William Dockery and Robert Oswalt. Honorary pallbearers are the employees of Southern Natural Gas and the Fosters/Ralph Community. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sylvan Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
