Biography: Shirley Wyatt, passed peacefully at home. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Shirley was a powerful prayer warrior whose devotion to the Lord never wavered, even as she faced a disease that took her memory, it could not take away the love she had for her family. She continued to pray, to believe, and to love with a heart full of grace and strength. For the past five years, Shirley waited patiently to be reunited with the love of her life.
Her legacy lives in the lives she touched, the prayers she lifted, and the love she gave so freely.
Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that Shirley is whole, at peace, and finally home.
Shirley dedicated many years of her life to Gulf States Paper Corp, after the company’s closure, she continued to share her skills and passion for sewing by working as a seamstress, eventually retiring from JCPenney. After retirement she continued to offer alterations from her home.
