Sarah Jo Parrish

Sarah Parrish, age 75 of Fayette Alabama, passed away Saturday evening, February 26, 2022. Visitation will be Monday February 28, 2022 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Services will be Tuesday March 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Terry Joe Oswalt officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Burial will follow the service at El Bethel Buncomb Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Parrish; parents Ottie and Vista White; brother Leon White; and sisters Amy Smelley and Joyce Pender. She is survived by her first husband, Raymond Smith; sons, Jeffrey Smith, Joey Smith (Debbie) daughters, Joanna Keeton (Amos), Angie Mordecai (Jason), Lisa Smith (Marcus Cannon); sisters, Martha Fields, Faye Sanford; grandchildren, Blake Smith, Jodi Smith Kemp (Sam), Aaron Mordecai, Andrew Mordecai, Marcus Cannon Jr., Alicia Cannon, Marshawn Cannon; and 5 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Blake Smith, Aaron Mordecai, Andrew Mordecai, Marcus Cannon Jr., Sam Kemp, and Daniel Corkin. Honorary Pallbearers include Gregory Fields, Johnathan Fields, Wayne Sanford, Marshawn Cannon, Arlo Smith, and Jaxon Shapiro.
