Sandra Clark Park, age 77, of Ralph, Ala., passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, at Grandview Medical Center. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., today, May 7, 2020, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Ralph with Rev. Wyatt Rhone and Dr. Corey Levy officiating the graveside service and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home directing. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Coleman Clark; and her brother, Lewis Clark. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert Park, Sr.; son, Rob Park (Sharon); daughters, Pamela Park and Audra Browder; and grandchildren, Carley Browder, Carey Browder, and Bailey Park; and nieces, Linda Ross and Sabrina Clark. Sandra grew up in Montgomery, Ala. and attended Robert E. Lee High School and went on to graduate from The University of Alabama in 1964 with a degree in Home Economics. She was a Master Gardener and served for many years on the Shelton State Foundation. Sandra is devotedly remembered by her family and friends whom she adored. She was known to the Ralph Community as an avid gardener and kind neighbor. One of her fun past times was to eat lunch with her "lunch bunch" group. A longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church, her strong faith was evident to everyone around her. She loved her Sunday School Class dearly and vacation Bible school was her passion. Sandra was a true Southern lady whose values and faith left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Pallbearers will be Scott Caruthers, William Ross, David Andrews, Tim Hitt, Clyde Phillips, Jr. and Todd Fields. Donations in her memory may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Bible School Fund.
