Sammy Lee Kimbrell

Sammy Kimbrell, age 66 of Fayette passed away March 6, 2022 at home. Graveside services will be at Flatwoods Cemetery on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Clyde Spruell officiating. The body will lie in state on Thursday at Norwood Wyatt Chapel from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Mr. Kimbrell was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Adeleene Kimbrell; sisters, Anna Lois Spruell, Blenda Anderson, and Shirley Roach; sister-in-law, Rebecca Kimbrell, and brother-in-law, Jay Rowe. Survivors include his daughter, April Sanford (Andy); son, Timothy Kimbrell (Angie); sisters, Opalene Snow, Wanda Baumgartner (Dwain), and Doris Rowe; brothers, James Kimbrell (Wanda), David Kimbrell, Roy Kimbrell (Rebecca), and Frankie Kimbrell; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
