Rosie Epps

Rosie Elease Epps, age 67 of Berry AL, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at DCH of Fayette. Services for Mrs. Epps will be Friday, January 26, 2024, at Mt. Moriah Church in Berry AL, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service. 

Rosie Elease Epps was born on August 4, 1956 to Jessie Finch and Gladys Finch. She loved life and embraced friendships. She was joyful and happy even during her time of sickness. Her radiant smile and compassionate heart captivated everyone who had the chance to meet her. She had an exceptional ability to remember dates and phone numbers. If we needed to know birthdates or any dates for past family events, we called Elease.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Gladys Finch, her husband, Larry C. Epps, and a brother, Jessie Finch.

Elease leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Tamonica Brown “Shea”; friend Larry Brown Henry; one son, Floyzell Gay; sisters: Chlora Bradley and Diana Donaldson; brothers: Donnie Finch and Ronnie Finch; grandchildren: Torrian Riley, Tyelan Chatman, Ashton Gay and Miah Elease Gay; great grandchildren: Tyson Chatman and Willow Elease Gay and a host of other relatives and friends.
