Ramon Garcia Lopez, age 54, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Services for Ramon Garcia Lopez will be Monday, September 29, 2025, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.

He is survived by his wife; Maria Trinidad Diaz De Garcia, sons; Jesus Oziel Garcia and Josue Ramon Garcia, both his parents, four sisters, five brothers; and host of nieces and nephews.

Ramon Garcia Lopez was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico on the 26th of November 1970. He was a man who lived his life intensely and with passion for what life had to offer. Ever since he was a young boy, he was always fearless, played sports, had lots of friends, loved animals, and kept his mother very busy. He married the love of his life, Maria Trinidad Diaz De Garcia, on the 28th of January 1995. With her, they formed a family and made Tuscaloosa, Alabama their home. After a miscarriage of twins, Ramon and his wife had two beautiful sons whom he loved deeply. He was a very generous and hard-working man who taught by example how to truly be a provider of a family. He loved to be out in nature and to be around people which is why he was happy and proud to be working on the beautiful grounds at the University of Alabama.

He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. The Garcia family welcomes and appreciates your support, thoughts, and prayers.

Ramon Garcia Lopez nació en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, el 26 de noviembre de 1970. Fue un hombre que vivió intensamente su vida, desde pequeño fue muy intrépido, jugaba deporte, tenía muchos amigos, le gustaban los animales, y mantenía muy ocupada a su madre. Se casó con el amor de su vida, Maria Trinidad Diaz de Garcia, el 28 de enero de 1995. Con ella formó una familia haciendo de Tuscaloosa, Alabama, su nuevo hogar. Después de la pérdida de unos gemelos, él tuvo dos hermosos hijos que los amaba con locura. Fue un hombre muy generoso y muy trabajador que con su ejemplo enseñaba cómo ser un verdadero proveedor de familia. Disfrutaba mucho de la naturaleza y del contacto con la gente, por eso era feliz trabajando en los jardines de la Universidad de Alabama.

Su familia y amigos lo extrañarán profundamente. La familia Garcia agradece su apoyo, oraciones y pensamientos.
