Maxine Banks

Maxine Banks, age 73, of Northport, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017. Services will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Oregonia Baptist Church with Rev. Bud Sullivan and Bro. Jimmy Holliman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Ezra Dunn; mother, Lula Robertson Dunn; sister, Agnes D. Hall; sisters, Margret D. Watkins and Estelle D. Hall; and brothers, Junior Dunn and Robert Lee Dunn.Survivors include her husband, James Cecil Banks; sons, James C. Banks, Jr. (Tina) and Thomas Hunter (Amber); special son, Jason Guin (Jennifer); brother, Brady Dunn (Jennifer); special sister, Connie Miles; grandchildren, Annabella and Isabella Hunter, Meagan Simon; and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be James C. Banks, Thomas Hunter, Jason Guin, Reggie Banks, Ryan Banks, Larry Banks, Troy Watkins, Bubba Watkins and Terry Townsend.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oregonia Baptist Cemetery Fund.The family would like to give a special thanks to friends and family of Baptist Campground Road, DCH Regional Medical Center MICU1 RN nurses, Devon B., James F., Tamesha, Katlyn and Helen, PCNA, Elisha Respiratory Therapists, Lillie and Mike, Dr. Mohammad Azam with Tuscaloosa Lung and Sleep Consultants and Dr. Nada Memon with Cardiac Electrophysiology of Alabama.
