Martha Ann Morgan

Martha Ann Morgan, age 72 of Berry passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Services will be Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Rev. Eric Milligan officiating. Burial will follow at Bevins Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her mother, Willie McDaniel; brothers, James McDaniel Gordy McDaniel; and sisters, Sara McDaniel and Shirley Ward. Survivors include her husband, John Edgar Morgan, Sr. “Eddie”; daughters, Leigh Milligan (Scotty); sons, John Edgar Morgan, Jr. (Bina) and Randy Hudson (Anita); and grandchildren, Hunter Yerby, Samuel Yerby, and Olivia Milligan. Martha was always a hard worker and loving wife, mother, and mawmaw. She loved her grandbabies with her whole heart. They were her whole world. She loved Alabama football and game days. She will be surely loved and missed by many. “We love you dearly Turtle.” Pallbearers will be Scotty Milligan, Hunter Yerby, Samuel Yerby, John Morgan, Terry Branham, Shane Watkins, Jerrett Baker, and Tony Howton. Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of Jasper, Home Health of Fayette, and Dr. Yerby.
