Magdalene Watkins Collins McDaniel, age 94 of Tuscaloosa, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021. Services will be Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at East McFarland Blvd Baptist Church with Michael Skipper officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel is directing. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Adrian Collins and Pete McDaniel; her father, Wilson David Watkins; mother, Trannie Martha Watkins; sisters, Buela Harbin, Minnie Lee Kimbrell, Vernon Vinston, Dessarea Freeman, Inez Griffin, Wilba Dean Mink; brothers, Thurman Watkins, Henry B. Watkins, and David Watkins; son-in-law, Joe Robertson; and Jimmy Braughton. She was born on December 22, 1926 in Berry, AL. She was a member of Indian Lake Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa. She is survived by her two daughters, Martha Jean Braughton and Mary Dean Robertson; grandchildren, Jay Braughton (Lisa), Adrian Edward Braughton (Kim), E.P. “Pete” Braughton (Shannon), Mary Jo Johnson (John), Sandra Delaine Robertson; great-grandchildren, Lauren Casey Braughton Sommers (Jason), Bailey Ann Braughton Patterson (Christopher), Adriana Michelle Braughton Madison (Brandon), Kayleigh Brooke Braughton, Addison Paige Braughton, Jordan Ashley Johnson, John Michael Johnson III, Hayley Ann Howell, Tristan Samuel Braughton, Joshua Caleb Braughton; great-great-grandsons, Jacob Ryan Patterson and Hudson Beau Sommers. Pallbearers will be Adrian Braughton, Jay Braughton, Peter Braughton, John Johnson, John Johnson II, Jason Wyatt, Kenny Beavers, and Tommy Beavers. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Beavers, Jimmy and Brenda Beavers, Shelba Kain and Sandy Jordan, Carolyn Edge, Elizabeth Braughton, Tom and Linda Caples, Kimberly Braughton, Lisa Braughton, Shannon Braughton, Kevin and Brandi Mills, Debbie MaBuce, Mary Watkins, Linda Watkins, Terry and Wanda Watkins, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Coats, Mary Gregory, Steve and Diane Gregory, Tommy and Patty Gregory, Dr. W.M.
