William "Larry" Jacobs

William “Larry” Jacobs, age 71, of Berry, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at DCH of Tuscaloosa. There will be a Graveside Service Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Salem Church of Nazarene Cemetery, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Jonathan Smith will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; Lawrence and Trannie Jacobs, and brothers; Danny and Gary Jacobs.

He is survived by his wife; Elizabeth Vaughn Jacobs of Berry, AL, daughter; Casey (Tres) Tennyson of Berry, AL, son; Wesley (Cheli) Jacobs of Berry, AL, brother; John (Joanna) Jacobs of Tuscaloosa, AL, grandchildren; Will (Laine) Jacobs, Nathan Jacobs, Kaitlyn Tennyson, and Layla Tennyson, sisters-in-law; Mary Jacobs and Connie Jacobs of Tuscaloosa, AL, and a host of nieces and nephews.

William “Larrry” Jacobs was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Feb. 09, 1954. He went on to marry the love of his life, Liz Jacobs on Sept. 06, 1975. He later went to work for the Tuscaloosa Fire Dept. where he retired. He will be remembered for the great love he had for his grandchildren and will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers will be Tuscaloosa Fire Dept.
