Kathy Rena Files, age 58 of Berry passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Northport. Services will be at Alta Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2020 with Rev. Eric Milligan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel is directing. Mrs. Files was preceded in death by father, John Floyd Thursby and brother, Tommy Thursby. She is survived by her husband, Larry Files; daughters, Stashia Gurganus (Jeremy) and Stephanie Berry (Josh); son, Jonathan Files (Crystal); mother, Viola Thursby; brothers, Timothy Thursby (Thanna) and Roger Thursby (Debra); grandchildren, Houston Gurganus, Zachary Gurganus, Rylee Berry, Kathryn Berry, and Aiden Files; and a host of nieces and nephews.
