Johnnie Miles

Johnnie Jay Miles, age 81, of Berry passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018. Services will be Friday, December 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Oregonia Baptist Church with Rev. Dee McGuire and Rev. Jimmy Holliman officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertie and Frances Miles; brothers, Leroy Miles and Willie Jack Miles; and grandsons, John Dakota Miles and Tyler Richardson. Johnnie is survived by his wife, Patricia Miles; daughter, Sandra Miles Mancuso (Chuck); son, Ronnie Miles; grandchild, Sara Miles McGuire; great-grandchildren, Jackson Miles, Madalynn Richardson, Miles McGuire, Amos McGuire, and another on the way, Elias McGuire. Johnnie worked close to thirty years with Tuscaloosa County. He was a lifelong member at Oregonia Baptist Church. Johnnie was married to his loving wife for sixty-one years. Pallbearers are Randy Cannon, Ronald Lunceford, Jason Christian, Chad Christian, Casey Miles, Justin McGuire, Clark Collins, Bobby Rex Swindle, Jack Miles, and Donnie Ray Collins. Honorary pallbearers are his nieces, Connie Miles and Lori Robertson, great niece, Lisa Cannon, special nurse, Arielle Ingram, Comfort Care Hospice, the members of Oregonia Baptist Church.
