John Kilgore

Rev. John Kilgore, age 72 of Bankston, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017. There will be a graveside service Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Patton Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 13, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service Saturday.Mr. Kilgore is preceded in death by his parents, Gene Kilgore and Geneva Kilgore; son, Tim Kilgore; brother, Ricky Kilgore; and sisters, Frankie and Shelby Kilgore.John is survived by his wife, Gail Rainey Kilgore of Bankston;daughters, Star Oramas (Armando) of Jasper and Melinda Jane Clay (Billy) of Jasper; sons, Jimmy Ray Kilgore (Brenda) of Bankston and John Wayne Kilgore (Abby) of Oakman; sisters, Sarah Martin (Johnny), Melissa Kilgore and Shelia Kilgore all of Oakman; brothers, Calvin Kilgore (Diane) of Chicago, IL, Dean Kilgore (Shelia) of Summiton and Mike Kilgore (Melissa) of Oakman; grandchildren, Kaytlyn Hopper and Blake Hopper both of Jasper, Belinda Burnett, Brittany Kilgore, Matthew Burroughs and Miranda Walker.
