Joey Dwayne Halbrook

Joey Dwayne Halbrook, age 53, of Bankston Alabama passed away Sunday November 7, 2021 at his residence. The family will hold a private service at Davis Chapel Church of Christ. Norwood–Wyatt Chapel will be directing. Mr. Halbrook was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Juanita Halbrook, and Reedy and Pauline Davis; his parents, Jimmy and Judy Halbrook; and his uncle, Tolbert Davis. Mr. Halbrook is survived by his wife, April Dawn Halbrook; step-daughter, Tabitha Sanford; sons, Justin Halbrook (Ashlie) and Jesse Halbrook (Haley); sister, Teresa Halbrook Locke (Tony); a niece, Adrian Locke; nephew, A’Rick Locke; brother, Gary Halbrook (April Pitts); a host of other nieces, nephews, friends and family; papa bears grandcubs, Natalie, Denver and Kash Halbrook. Joey Halbrook was born on July 19, 1968. He graduated from Berry High School in May of 1986. He was a truckdriver and really enjoyed it. Known by many and most as “skinny” or “skinny Brookes”. Joey will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
