James Danny Stephens

James Danny Stephens, age 71 of Fayette AL, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at his residence. Services for Mr. Stephens will be Tuesday, June 04, 2024, at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Bro. Bill Mason will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service. 
 
James Danny Stephens is preceded in death by his parents; James and Annie Stephens, sisters; Linda Pike, and Carolyn Mann. 
 
He is survived by his wife; Pennie Sue Stephens of Fayette AL, sons; Eric Stephens of Detroit AL, and Jesse (Michelle) Stephens of LaGrande OR, sisters; Jean Watkins of Fayette AL, and Kay Smith of Fayette AL, grandchildren; James Darrin (Liseth) Stephens, and Automn Marie (Richard) Adams, and great-grandchildren; Emerson Stephens, Olivia Stephens, Dean Stephens, and Rylee Adams. 
 
Danny was a humble loving man. He lived a simple life and would help anyone. Following retirement from Arvin, he and his wife began driving big rigs and enjoyed traveling all over the United States. They both decided to spend more time at home and have spent the last few years growing gardens and tending to their chickens. Danny loved his wife, his boys, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will forever be cherished by family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Richard Adams, Danny Jenkins, Chris Jones, Jason Holmes, Michael Holmes, Darren Stephens, and Chris Watkins.
