James Landon Crowell

James Landon Crowell, age 71 of Kennedy, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at home. Services will be Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Bro. Scott Stanford officiating. The burial will follow at Owens Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. He was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Vaudine Crowell; and one brother, Luther Paul Crowell. Survivors include his wife, Sheila Marie Sirmon Crowell; daughters, Michelle Trimm (Greg), Lori Stanford (Scott), and Wendy Stacks (Josh); sister, Barbara Johnson (Colon); his grandchildren, Kyla Trimm, Ally Trimm, Erica Stanford, Chasidy Stanford, Clay Stanford, Cole Stanford, Mason Goodin, Brady Taylor, and Hayes Crowell; and one great-grandchild, Madilyn Green. Landon served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for the State Highway Department and spent most of his life driving a log truck. He loved old cars but more than anything he loved his family. Pallbearers will be Dale Bozeman, Randy Parker, Mackey Watkins, Don Byars, Josh Stacks, and Greg Trimm.
