Henry Herbert Rosborough

Henry H. Rosborough, age 89 of Duncanville passed away Friday, August 12, 2022. Services will be Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Gilgal Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Private family burial to follow at Fayette City Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane H. Rosborough; mother, Nora Hollingsworth Rosborough and father, Warren A. Rosborough; brothers, Warren and Thomas Rosborough; and sister, Sarah Alice Nixon. He is survived by his sons, Fred Larry Rosborough (Cheryl), Gentry, AR and Hank Scott Rosborough, Tuscaloosa; stepchildren, Jane Ellen Clark, Hybart, AL and Perry Johnson (Paula) GA; and 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Mr. Rosborough was born January 7, 1933 to Nora Hollingsworth Rosborough and Warren A. Rosborough in Fayette. He worked from an early age at the Fayette Cotton Mill to his last position at West Alabama Rehabilitation Center. He joined the US Army and fought in the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed Alabama football and also enjoyed working on and showing antique cars. He was an accomplished upholster and was well known for his work throughout west Alabama. He attended Gilgal Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to Gilgal Baptist Church, 3000 Bear Creek Road East, Duncanville, AL 35456 or Journey Hospice of Alabama, 4128 Cross Haven Drive, Birmingham, AL 35243. Honorary pallbearers are Revon Bingham, Phillip Lee, Ricky Reese, Braden Hickman, Cruz Rosborough, Felix Rosborough, Jerod Dalke and Carey Stubbs.
