Glenn Mitchell

 Glenn Mitchell, age 91 of Tuscaloosa, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Services will be Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Taylorville United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Lamb officiating and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Grace Mitchell; and sister, Thelma Priola (Mike). Survivors include his wife, Marie Bailey Mitchell; sisters, Joyce Barksdale (Joe) and Sue Doan (C.R.); daughter, Angie Conner; son, Gregg Mitchell (Vickie); grandchildren, Todd Logan (Kristin), Anna Marie Cain (James), Blake Mitchell (Laura), Bryant Mitchell (Rebecca), and Grace Conner (Austin Davis); and ten great-grandchildren. Glenn was a loving husband, Father, and Papa. A loving Uncle Glenn to many nieces, nephews, and friends. A longtime member of Taylorville United Methodist Church. He was employed by Gulf States Paper, Rochester products, and the University of Alabama. Pallbearers will be Todd Logan, Blake Mitchell, Bryant Mitchell, James Cain, Austin Davis, David Doan, C.R. Doan, Mike Priola, and Tom Priola. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Taylorville United Methodist Church and Hospice of West Alabama.
