Evelyn "Lene" Freeman

Evelyn "Lene" Freeman was born to Ruth Kate Whiteside and the late Rufus "Brock" Freeman on December 14, 1960. She departed this life on February 6, 2020. She graduated from Glenville High School in Cleveland, OH and later moved to Fayette, Alabama.  She was the mother of three sons, a homemaker and a caregiver. To know her was to love her. She was always making people laugh and wanted everyone she was around to be as happy as she was. She will truly be missed.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, Rufus "Brock" Freeman; two sisters: Margie Holland and Linda Willingham and a special aunt, Retta Nelson.  Evelyn leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Ruth Kate Whiteside; sister, Wanda Coleman of Cleveland, OH; brother, Rozelle Blackburn of Fayette, AL; three sons: Milton Freeman and Michael Freeman of Cleveland, OH and Rufus Freeman of Birmingham, AL; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
