Erick Stephon Taylor, age 64, of Berry, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at DCH Regional Medical Center. There will be a graveside service Monday, July 13, 2026, at their family cemetery, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to service time. Rev. Curry Bennet will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.

Born on April 23, 1962, Erick was the son of the late David “Bud” Taylor and Shirley Taylor. He grew up in the Berry area and remained close to his family throughout his life.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Taylor; his brother, David Taylor; his niece, Nicole Taylor; and his nephews, Josh Taylor, DJ Taylor, and Zachary Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father, David “Bud” Taylor, and his sister, Sheila Barnes.

Erick will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, uncle, and family man who cherished his time with loved ones.
