Ella Wilson

Ella Mae Wilson, age 99 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Fayette Long Term Care. Services will be Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Bridges officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bankhead Cemetery in the McKinney section. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Mose Wilson; mother, Lovie Johnson and father, Charlie Rich; son, Lonnie James “LJ” Wilson; and son-in-law, Edward, McClinton. She is survived by her daughter, Ollie Mae McClinton; son, Charlie A. Wilson (Martha); sister, Louise Willingham; and eight grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many, many, many claimed children and grandchildren. Pallbearers will be James Donald Wilson, Frank Wilson, Gilbert Gay, Earnest Paul Walker, Felix O’Neal Caine, and Fred Whitfield. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons, Peaceful Rest Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church.
