Dorothy “Dottie” Phillips Jacobs, age 72, of Knoxville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Hospice of West Alabama. There will be a graveside service Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, in Ralph, Alabama, at 10:30 a.m. Bro. Robert Burns will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband; Johnny Jacobs, and parents; Willie and Novie Phillips.

She is survived by her son; Mike (Linda) Jacobs of Fosters, Alabama.

Dorothy retired from the Harper Center after 17 years of dedicated and faithful service. She is a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Robb Burns, Chris Jacobs, Eddie Jacobs, Roy Jacobs, Ray Jacobs, Clint Hansford.
