Dorothy Harless

Dorothy Harless, age 79 of Fayette, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. Services will be Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy N. Harless; parents, Marvin and Georgia V. Pendley; brothers, Billy Wayne Pendley, Marvin Edgar Pendley, Kenneth Lynn Pendley; sister, Charlotte Ann Sanford; son, Janx; and granddaughter, Tia Mullinax. She is survived by her son, Thomas DeWayne Mullinax (Myra) of Oakman, AL; brother, Ronald Lee Pendley of Fayette, AL; grandchildren, Tommy Mullinax and Kayla Marie Mullinax; and three great-grandchildren. In her younger years, she worked at Partlow as a cook. After her husband Bill passed she came back to Fayette County. She never met a stranger and made a lot of friends. When she got sick, she moved in with her niece. She will be missed by a lot of people, but one thing for certain, she gained her wings and she is at peace. Honorary pallbearers are Alabama Hospice of Jasper and special friend, Shelia Knight.
