Debra Buck, age 62 of Vernon, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at her residence. The family will have a private service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.

Debra is preceded in death by her mother; Linda Jones, and grandparents; Elbert and Lola Matthews.

She is survived by her sister; Linda (Bruce) Mordecai of Gordo, Alabama, nephews; Matthew (Megan) Mordecai of Reform, Alabama, and Nicholas Mordecai of Gordo, Alabama, great nephew; Trevor Mordecai, great nieces; Jordyn and Wrynleigh of Reform, Alabama, cousins and caretakers, Judy Allen, Toni Allen, Amanda Matthews, Jeff Matthews, Barbara Matthews, Heather Bowlin, and lots of little ones who loved her dearly. Debra will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
