David Simmons

David Simmons, age 80 of Bankston, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020. There will be a memorial service Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Cleveland Church of Christ Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan Simmons and Ruby Webb Simmons; brothers, Douglas Simmons and Edward Simmons. Mr. Simmons is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Simmons; daughter, Rene Lowery (David), Russell Simmons, brothers, Robert and Joe Simmons; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. David was born and raised in Bankston and attended Berry and Bankston High School. David was married to his wife, Martha Sue Simmons for 57 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cleveland Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
