David “Jackson” Lancaster III, age 25 of Northport, AL, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 1, 2023. Services for Mr. Lancaster will be Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Five Points Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tindle officiating and Norwood Wyatt Chapel directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and there will be a private family burial to follow.

Jackson Lancaster was preceded in death by his grandfather, Barry Thornton, and his grandmothers, Janice Oswalt and Linda Lancaster.

He is survived by his parents, Toby and Amy Lancaster; sister, Emma Rae Lancaster; grandparents, Ricky Lancaster, F. Stanley and Linda Thornton; Aunts and Uncles, Ginger Shirley (Todd), Misty Estes (Justin), Jeff Lancaster (Christy); and a host of cousins.

Jackson was known for his loving heart and giving spirit. He loved his family deeply, immediate and extended, especially his sister, Emma Rae.

Jackson earned his high school diploma from UCCA in 2016. He participated in dual enrollment to accelerate his college education and completed his associates degree in welding from Shelton State Community College in 2017.

It was a blessing to have Jackson help run the family business, Harvest of the Earth Plumbing Company dba Lancaster Plumbing Company, as a journeyman plumber and as his dad’s right-hand man.

Jackson impacted many lives during his short time here with us. He will be greatly missed. Family and friends will miss his handsome smile, his contagious laugh, and most of all his heartfelt hugs.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Lancaster, Toby Lancaster, Jeff Lancaster, Todd Shirley, Justin Estes, Austin Lancaster, Adam Lancaster, Cade Lancaster, Will Shirley, Hunter Sexton and Graydon Hall.

Honorary pallbearers will be staff at West Alabama Family Practice and Sports Medicine, Northwest Supply Co. and Rowdy McBride.
