Charles Daniel “Boone” Moore, age 52 of Duncanville passed away January 17, 2022 in St. Augustine, Florida. Services will be Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Druid Hills United Methodist Church with Jerrel Geer officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his father, Charles Douglas Moore; son, Charles Daniel Moore, Jr.; infant sister, Megan Moore; brothers-in-law, Doug Salyers and Derrick Jones; and his grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Lowe; daughters, Amber Donaldson, Brandi Hodges, Jessica Miller; sons, Christopher Harper and Neal Donaldson; sisters, Marsha Salyers (Jason) and Christy Robertson (Jimmy); mother, Ivey Ray Merie (Henry); grandchildren, Mackenzie Harper, Zykhia Hodges, TaNiah Bennett, Devonta Bennett, Daniel Bennett, Amor Bennett Daniel Miller, and Zoey Miller; special grandbabies, Bella and Brayden Bolen. Charles Daniel “Boone” Moore was born June 29, 1969 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Charles Douglas and Ivey Marie Moore. Daniel went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 17, 2022. Daniel “Boone” worked for Foster & Association for the majority of his life as a crew chief. He was a hard-working man, “Bring your lunch with you he would say. Get it done.” Daniel “Boone” was a family man. That’s what was important to him. He loved his wife, kids, grandchildren, his mother, sisters, all of his nieces and nephews. His last words were always “I love you very much.” He was a loyal friend. If you knew him, you knew you had a friend in him. He was always kind and helpful. Daniel “Boone” was a die-hard Alabama fan. He was a coach from the stands good or bad. He also enjoyed Nascar, fishing and grilling and anything that involved outdoors and nature. Overall, he was an outgoing, fun, loving, caring person to all.
