Cecil Odell Kimbrell

Cecil Odell Kimbrell, age 78 of Fayette passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at DCH Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.  Services will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Max Stripling and Rev. Steve Stamps officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Troy Odell and Hildridge Kimbrell; son, Jonathan Odell Kimbrell; grandson, Aaron Andrew Potts; and son-in-law, Virgil Andrew Potts. Survivors include his wife since 1958, Kathleen Kimbrell; his children, Cynthia Potts Tittle (Waylon), Robert Odell Kimbrell, Anita Jane Hamlett (Casey), and Jason Odell Kimbrell (Misty); grandchildren, Alyssa Schenk (Korey), Adam Potts (Jennifer), Peter Odell Kimbrell (Lauren), Mary Potts Darden (Jon), Katie Kimbrell, Landon Hamlett, Andrew Jonathan (AJ) Kimbrell, Jackson Kimbrell; step granddaughters, Jennifer and Kimberly Tittle; great grandchildren, Jordan Paul (JP) Schenk and Renee Aaron Darden; brothers, Karl Kimbrell (Sue) and Billy Kimbrell (Nell); and sister, Anna Jean Hebbler. Cecil was a member and retired employee of UA Local 372 Plumbers and Pipefitters, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Upon his retirement he owned and operated Kimbrell Services, Inc. Pallbearers will be AJ Kimbrell, Landon Hamlett, Adam Potts, Peter Kimbrell, Thomas Fields, Jon Darden, and honorary pallbearer, Jackson Kimbrell.
