Carolyn Nelson Moss, age 77 of Montgomery AL, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Montgomery. There will be a visitation at 1:00 p.m. and a Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Montgomery, Stakely Sanctuary, at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Mark Bethea will be officiating. There will also be a graveside service on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Fayette City Cemetery, at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Chris Herbert will be officiating.
Carolyn Nelson Moss is preceded in death by Hubert F.(Mickey) Moss; parents, Andrew Nelson and Bertha Parsons; and siblings, Linda Grable and Mitchell Parsons.
She is survived by her son, Michael Andrew Moss (Kristi); daughters, Holly Moss Shegon (Pat) and Carrie Moss Shiflett (Jeff); sisters, Dominga Skolud (Heinz) and Tanyea Robertson (Devery); brother, Jimmie Nelson; grandchildren, Kaylie and Lacey Moss, Mary Stewart, Sally and Parker Shegon and Chappell and Jeffrey Shiflett.
In lieu of flowers, you may give to First Baptist Church Caring Center-(305 South Perry Street, Montgomery AL, 36104) or the charity of your choice.
