Faye Lancaster was a kind, compassionate, and loving person who truly loved people. Some of her happiest times were spent surrounded by family and friends. She cherished family holidays when her home and yard were filled with her children, grandchildren, cousins, and friends. Everyone was always welcome. She loved preparing everyone’s favorite foods, seeing the smiles on their faces, and taking pictures to capture those special moments.
Faye enjoyed traveling to visit her brothers and sisters. She often shared stories of the fun times they had together, playing Yahtzee and dominoes, laughing, talking, and simply enjoying one another’s company. Those memories were very precious to her.
She also loved dancing and music. She always looked forward to her trips to Florida to visit family and make more wonderful memories. A Florida visit often included a good meal at her favorite seafood restaurant, where she especially enjoyed having some fresh Florida oysters.
Faye was never shy about sharing her faith. She would often tell others how much she loved Jesus and how important her faith was to her. Her love for the Lord was a meaningful part of who she was.
Above all, Faye was a devoted mother, wife, sister, and friend. She gave love freely, welcomed others with an open heart, and treasured the time she had with the people she loved. Her kindness, laughter, faith, and loving spirit touched the lives of so many.
Faye will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the pictures taken, the meals enjoyed together, and, most of all, in the hearts of those who loved her.
Pallbearers will be Chad McPherson, Reid McPherson, Johnny Brown, Sammy McGreger, Joey Jones, and Mikey Hardin.
