December 9, 1963 — April 5, 2020

Barbara Gene Wright, age 56 of Bankston passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020. There will be a graveside service Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Studdards Crossroads Cemetery with Rev. Curry Bennett officiating. She was preceded in death by her son, James Micheal Wright; father, Willie Jean Bridgeman; and her grandparents, Will and Olene Bridgeman, Ault and Lucille Nelson, and Charlie B. Childers. Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Wright of Bankston; sons, Kevin Wright and Dustin Wright both of Bankston; stepson, Jeremy Uptain of Oakman; sisters, Linda Prewitt of Florida, Darlene Swindle (David Fredrick) of Hamilton, Kathy Parker (Tim Willcutt) of Berry, and Kimberly Saltzmann Charles) of Northport; brothers, James Bridgeman (Kim) and Terry Bridgeman (Tracy); mother, Bonnie Fay Bridgeman; two step grandchildren; fifteen nieces and nephews; and twenty-three great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barbara Wright was a loving wife and mother. She lived by God and the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a beloved daughter of Willie Jean and Bonnie Bridgeman, a loving sister, aunt and one of the dearest friends anyone could have. She was a lover of all animals especially to her two dogs, Lil Bit and Bandit. She loved her Lord and loved gardening. Mrs. Barbara never spoke a bad word about anyone and was the most kind-hearted person. She lived for her family, husband, kids, and the Lord. Pallbearers are Jonathon Hollingsworth, Dale Allen Bridgeman, Jeremy Bridgeman, Brett Bobo, Chase Swindle, and Charles Saltzmann. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Sasser, Jeremy Walton, Jimmy Cabiness, Carter Cook, Tim Willcutt, and Hospice of West Alabama.
