Amanda McClain

Amanda McClain, age 52 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services for Mrs. McClain will be on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Norwood Wyatt Chapel. Mrs. McClain will lie in state one hour prior to the service and Burial will follow at El Bethel Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, baby brother and her grandparents. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles “Charlie” McClain, and her son Joshua “Josh” McClain. Mrs. McClain spent her younger life in Guin, AL. She was a graduate of Marion County Highschool. She even survived the terrible 1974 Guin Tornado. She was a CNA at Diversicare in Winfield, AL for a number of years. Amanda was a God fearing, life loving, wholesome person. She will truly be missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know her.
