Adrienne Lindsay Landry, age 85, of Fayette, Alabama, passed away on Monday April 27, 2026, after a several illnesses. Visitation will be Saturday, May 16, 2026, at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service to follow in the church's Memorial Garden.
A native of Baton Rouge, she was a resident of the Northshore for over 40 years, and most recently resided in Fayette, AL. She is survived by her son Joseph Durel Landry, III and wife Rhonda of Fayette, son Kirk Lindsay Landry and wife Kristen of Baton Rouge, and grandchildren Katherine Landry and Lindsay Landry, both of Houston. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Margaret "Peggie" Brown and brother-in-law John "Jack" Brown of Covington, nieces and nephew Lisa Elliott of Houston, Randi Brown Mary of Covington, and Dr. John "Jay" Brown, Jr. of Mandeville, as well as their families. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years Joseph Durel Landry, Jr., her parents J. Kirk Lindsay and Emma Lee Lindsay of Baton Rouge, her sister Merilyn Lindsay Elliott and brother-in-law Earl D. Elliott of Houston, her brother J. Kirk Lindsay, Jr. of Baton Rouge, and her nephew Brett Elliott of Houston.
Adrienne attended Baton Rouge High School and Louisiana State University. She enjoyed traveling, reading and crossword puzzles. She will be remembered for always dressing well, maintaining a tidy home and having dinner on the table every night, and her devotion to family dogs Charlie, Suzie, Fancy, Peaches and Praline and cat Jeff.
