Mrs. Dorothy Mae “Dot” Terry, age 75 of Berry, died Monday July 12, 2010 at Hospice of West Alabama. Funeral services for Mrs. Terry will be Saturday, July 17th at 4:00 p.m. at Union Grove Church with Bro. Raymond Kimbrell officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 3 -4 p.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 at the funeral home. Mrs. Terry was born April 11, 1935 in Tuscaloosa Co. the daughter of the late Foster and Myrtie Harris Fondren. She was a resident of the Boley Community for many years and formerly worked for numerous garment plants in Fayette County. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ollen Terry in 1973, 1 daughter, Ola Jean Terry in 1955; sister Ola Swindle Rowland, and brother, James Harold Fondren. Survivors include 2 daughters, Dorothy Faye Terry & Vivian Lorraine Burnett (Randy) of Berry ; 2 sons, Robert Lawrence Terry of Fayette & Mickle Terry (Donna) of Berry; 1 sister, Norma Fondren of Kenosha, WS; 1 sister-in-law, Joan Wynette Fondren of Oakman; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Scott Terry, Kristina Michelle Stubbs, Victoria Lorraine Wright, James Michael Burnett, Floyd Morrison III, Charles Daniel Morrison; 6 great grandchildren, Brandon Terry, McKenzie Terry, Nancy Cheyenne Morrison, Paige Haley Morrison, Melody Morrison, Daniel Luke Morrison. Special Thanks to Dorothy Ann Hagler, Judy Radcliff, Judy Knuckles, Rhonda Terry, Donna Terry, Hospice of West Alabama and Dr. Martha Christian for the loving care of our Mother during her lengthy illness.
