Elaine Foster Green

Patricia Elaine Foster Green, age 60, of Kennedy, died June 6, 2010, at Fayette Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris McCool, Bro. Tim McCool, and Bro. Ken Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her father, Grady Wilson Foster, and her mother, Lalah Kate Hughes. Survivors include her husband, Gerald Raymond Green; her daughters, Kristie Lane Green Ramsey (Todd) and Kimberly Lynn Green Young (Brandon); her sister, Margaret Freeman; her brothers, Eugene Foster and Wayne Foster; and four grandchildren, Cade Harris, Jax Ramsey, Taylor Kate Young, and Lilly Young. Elaine was born June 14, 1949, in Fayette County. A lifelong native of Kennedy, she was a graduate of the Kennedy High School Class of 1967. She was a member of Meadow Branch Baptist Church and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Pallbearers will be Shane Foster, Scott Foster, Bill Freeman, Mike Freeman, Robbie Lawson, and Chris Gilliam. Honorary pallbearers are Kennedy High School Class of 1967.
