Annie Sudduth

Annie Sudduth passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017. Services will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fayette Memorial Gardens. Annie Ruth Sudduth was born to the late Martha Meeks and David Giles in Gieger, AL. She confessed Christ at an early age. She became a member of First Baptist Church, Fayette, AL under the leadership of Rev. J.H. Thompson. She was the mother of four lovely children. She departed this life on May 11, 2017 in Augusta, GA where she had resided for the last six years with her youngest daughter, Johnetta Travis. Annie Ruth worked twenty-eight years at Fayette County Hospital in Food Services. She loved to take care of her patients and she was a great cook. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Woods and two sisters, Lucille Dixon and Anna Mae Vanarsdale. She leaves to cherish her memories, one brother, Frank (Mildred) Woods of Detroit, MI; her children, Diane Martin of Jacksonville, TN, Thomas (Myrtle) Johnson of Memphis, TN, Janis Young of Houston, TX and Johnetta Travis of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Octavia Martin, Andrea Martin, Tamantha (Edward) Holt, Tanya (Josh) Evans, Thomas (Tiffany) Johnson, Ashley (Daryl) Channel, Marcus (Marquita) Johnson, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
