Alvin Hubert Fowler

Alvin Hubert Fowler, age 88 of Fayette, passed away March 14, 2017 at Diversicare Nursing Home.  Services will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Sand Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harkness officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.   Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel.  The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Fowler; parents, Brutus and Effie Fowler; brothers, Harold Fowler, Albin Fowler, and Alton Fowler; and sister Lois Herren. Survivors include his sister, Carolyn Miles (Ronald) of Winfield; brother, Eugene Fowler (Mary) of Demopolis; and nephew and caretaker, Ernest Ray Jordan (Martha).
