Wilson Williams

Wilson Williams age 79 of Fayette, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at home. Services will be Thursday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home with Mike Perrigin, DaRon Lacey, Ralph Smith and Brett Burleson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 23 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Williams and Ressie Williams. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Smith of Fayette; daughter, April LaKate (Brett) Burleson of Mobile; son, Geoffrey Wilson (Celeste) Williams of Tuscaloosa; sister, Bobbie Jean Buss of Montrose, Michigan; brother, Cedric Williams of Birmingham; and grandchildren, Christopher Williams, Bradley Williams, Alyssa Williams, AnnaKate Burleson, Olivia Burleson, Chris Taylor (Angel) and Curtis Taylor. Pallbearers will be Christopher Williams, Bradley Williams, Curtis Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Mike Petrella, Tony Petrella, Randy Petrella and David Williams. Honorary pallbearers are the members of Chapel Hill Baptist Church, former Arvin Employees, N and N Trucking and members of Palmetto High School class of 1958. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Chapel Hill Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 538, Fayette, AL 35555.
