Jeffrey Morris Brasher

Jeffrey Morris Brasher, age 50, of Bankston, Ala., died February 18, 2017. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Unity Baptist Church with Shawn McDaniel, Joe Fondren and Ray Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton, Ala. with Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 21, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer and Ovella Harkness and C.C. “Shorty” and Eunice Brasher, and mother-in-law, Joyce Jones Ray. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Ray Brasher, daughter, Jennifer L. Brasher (Matthew Madison); son Austin B. Brasher; parents, James “John” Brasher and Doris H. Brasher; father-in-law, Jackie Ray; sister, Pam B. Dennis (Tim); nieces, Lauren Wakefield (Samuel) and their children, Will and Hallie and Lindsey Hoggle and her daughter Raleigh; nephews, Tyler and Ethan Wilkins; and sister-in-law, Tonya Wilkins (Jason). Pallbearers will be Tom Whitley, John Howard, Jeff Howard, Tim Vines, Stephen Fulmer, Ron Hannah and Andy Higgins. Honorary pallbearers are members of Fayette County Country Club and employees of Flowers Bakery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1811 Lewis Crossroads Road, Carrollton, AL 35447 and Fayette County Country Club, P.O.
