Phillip Wright

Mr. Phillip Alan “Flipp” Wright age 55 of Fayette passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Funeral service for Mr. Wright will be Saturday January 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home with Robby Faulkner and Bro. Dillon Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the New Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mr. Wright was born May 30, 1961, he was the son of Charlie Robert Wright and Elaine Porter Wright McKinley. He formerly lived in Texas and returned to Fayette County in 1989. He loved NASCAR and Alabama football. He is survived by one daughter, Nicole Elizabeth Wright Madison of Vernon; one son, Jeffery Alan Wright of Fayette; his mother and step-father, Elaine and Marvin McKinley of Guin, AL; father, Charlie Wright of Crosby, TX; a step-brother, Roger Walden, of Key West, FL; and half-sister, Aliecia Pruitt of Crosby, TX and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Tammy Wright and Jennifer McKinley; step-sister, Valerie “Tinka” Edmonds.
