Kathy Glasgow, age 61 of Booneville, Mississippi, passed away January 4, 2017 at North Mississippi Medical Center. Services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January, 7, 2017 at Piney Grove Church, Bankston with Rev. Adam Smith and Rev. Delton Harrison officiating and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel directing. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Pennington and Laura Shackelford; husband, Jimmy Glasgow; son, Michael Glasgow; granddaughter, Mary Hawkins; and great grandson, John Michael Glasgow. She is survived by her daughters, Alena (Jeff) Andrews of Columbus, Cyndi (Paul) Patterson of Booneville, Faith (Johnny) Perkins of Crossville and Apryl (Adam) Smith of Fowlers Crossroads; son, James Doyle Shackelford of Jasper; sisters, Mary Robinson and Carol Lockhart; brother, Terry Pennington; grandchildren, Mallory Glasgow of Columbus, Jeremy (Brandy) Andrews of Columbus, Hope Glasgow of Crossville, Paul Patterson, Jr. of Booneville, Dylan Smith of Fowlers Crossroads, J.D. Smith of Fowlers Crossroads and Tori Perkins of Crossville; and great grandchildren, Andy Andrews and Kaylynn Andrews of Columbus; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Vernon. She loved her husband and was a good homemaker. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren greatly. Heaven gained a jewel. She loved to cook and made sure you had something to eat. Pallbearers will be Brian Brooks, Jr., Aaron Glasgow, Patrick Patterson, Scott Kelly, Jon McClain, Jacob Glasgow, Zack Glasgow and Tony Locke. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Glasgow, Bill Glasgow, Mickey Glasgow, Ralph Glasgow, Benny Glasgow, Randy Glasgow and Tim Glasgow.
