Donna June Gilpin

Donna 'June' Gilpin passed away on November 2, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. The graveside service will be Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Gardens with Dr. Dale Mitchell officiating and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel directing. She was born on June 7, 1948 in Cleveland, TN, but grew up in Fayette, AL, to the late William V. Gilpin and Ina D. Fowler. After graduating high school, June took drafting. She worked in the shipyards for 20 years. June was an artist who created and hand painted pieces of art. Later, she owned and operated a ceramic shop and continued her artistry. She always had a love for horses. Preceding June in death are her grandson, James W. Fuller; son, William Mitchum and sister, Amy Boyd. To cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Tana M. (Karl) Fuller; grandson, Alexander S. Fuller; brother, Van (Beth) Gilpin; sister, Gail (Mike) Gladden; nephew, Chris Gladden & Jackie and many friends.
