Ann Marie Springer Fields, 76, peacefully passed away October 30, 2016 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. David Cottingham officiating and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel directing. Interment will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lena Pearl Springer, James Howard Springer and step-daughter, Kimberly Fields Murphy. She is survived by her husband, Samuel “Bo” Fields, her daughter Susan Hubbard Hallman (Marty), son Wesley Terry Hubbard (Janice), stepdaughters Leah Fields Ozment (Tom) and Stephanie Fields White. Sisters: Martha Raye Killgore (Terry), Rebecca Faye Springer Miller (Max) and a brother James Bradford Springer (Beth), grandchildren: Thad Clifton Hallman, Tristan James Hallman, Jennifer Hubbard Mikois (Jim), Tyler Hubbard (Kathryn) Garett Hubbard (Kelley) Ashley Aliese Huffman, Phillip Alexander Huffman (Amber), Sally Faulkner Ozment, Mary Allison Ozment, Joshua Albert White, Carl Ray White (Shelby), Sarah Elizabeth White , Angel Grace White, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, close family friends, Chase Channell and Bill Murphy. Honorary pallbearers will be Tuscaloosa High School class of 1958, Linda Garner, Harris Hagood, Burt Guy, Paul Ray, Kim Sartain, Gerald Allen, Jim Barnes, all the associates with Allstate in the Ryan Powell and Adams agency, Dr. Gene Alldredge, Dr. Donnie Scott, Dr. William Hill, Dr. George Miller, Dr. John Miller, Staff at Hospice of West Alabama, staff of Allacare, and elders and deacons of Harvest Church. The family would like to thank Rene Maldonoda for her faithful service as her caregiver. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
