Dorothy Englebert

Mrs. Dorothy Haney Dodson Englebert age 88 of Fayette passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 at her residence. Funeral Service for Mrs. Englebert will be Tuesday September 6th at 2:00pm Norwood/Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Will Corbett, officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Union Cemetery. The visitation will be Monday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Norwood/Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home. Mrs. Englebert was born February 4, 1928 in Fayette County, the daughter of the late Gurley and Mamie Lou Dodson Haney. She was formerly employed at the Fayette Cotton Mill and had been a resident of Fayette most of her life. She is survived by: two daughters, Debbie (O.P.) Morgan of Fayette and Sandra (William) Matthews of Gulfport, Miss.; 5 grandchildren, Devon Eason, Derek Morgan, Damien Englebert, Kayla Stripling, Amber Mykut, and 9 great grandchildren; one sister, Bobbie Jean Pitts of Tyler, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Dodson, two sons, Brett Englebert, and Danny Dodson, and a grandson Cody Knight in 2015. Pallbearers will be Derek Morgan, Mitch Stripling, Bradley Eason, Grady Bullock, Tuff Stripling, Damien Englebert
