Shelby Moore

Shelby Jean Moore, age 79 of Fayette passed away August 30, 2016 at Morningside in Fayette. Services will be today at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Rev. Bobby Robbins and Rev. Wil Corbett officiating and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel directing. Interment will follow at Fayette Memorial Gardens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gloomer and Julia Sullivan; husband, Rayford C. Moore; son, Chris Moore; son-in-law, Steve Riley; brothers, Hershel Hudson, Harold Sullivan and Billy Ray Sullivan; sister-in-law, Sarah Hudson; and brother-in-law, Johnny Wallace. Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Moore Riley of Fayette and Joanna Rena Moore, Macon, GA; sisters-in-law, Connie Moore Wallace, Barbara Gilpin Sullivan, Sara Kate Carraway Sullivan, and Lois Wilson Moore; brother-in-law, Randall Moore; grandchildren, Will (Angie) Riley, Katie Riley, and Kalie Hubbert; great-grandchildren, Mason Riley and Brooks Riley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Will Riley, Rick Wallace, Johnny Ray Sullivan, David Sullivan, Chris Wilson, and Darren Sherrill. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Morningside and Hospice of Northwest Alabama. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Morningside Activity Fund.
