Helen Jean McClain

Helen Jean McClain, age 81 of Fayette passed away August 20, 2016 at UAB Hospital. Services will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Rev. David Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Minnie Olive; sister, Lola Mae McClain; and brother-in-law, Charles McClain. Survivors include her husband, James Earl “Buddy” McClain; daughter, Katie Snow; son, Steve Snow (Irene) of Perry, GA; brother, Barney Olive (Carol); grandchildren, James Aaron Snow (Tiffany) of Augusta, GA and Rachel Anna Snow of Cleveland, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Charles McClain, Jr., Christopher Irvin, Joshua McClain, Jon McClain, Alan Davis, and Will McClain. Honorary pallbearer will be Joe McClain, Jr.
